I'm having issues with checkout. Can you help?
Registration is not complete without payment. Our checkout process should work like so:
- Find the class that you'd like to buy
- Click "Add to Cart"
- Fill out a pop-up form with your student's information
- Now the purchase is in your cart waiting for checkout. Click the cart at the top / top-right of the screen. Follow the steps to check out.
If you are still having problems with checkout after following those steps, we recommend trying from a different device or emailing email@example.com to arrange payment through another method.
I see you guys are now offering a promo code, but I already bought a camp. Can you apply the promo code to my purchase?
Yes, let us know and we will gladly refund the difference.
Do you offer any promo codes?
We are not presently offering any promo codes. The good news is, our classes are already about half the cost of other tech camps around town!
I live in a place where you don't offer a camp or class. Can you guys come to me?
It would be our pleasure! We are open to coming to schools or anywhere in the Houston area. Shoot us a message and let us know if you have a facility or location in mind.
Can my child join the camp that is [older or younger] than their current age?
It really depends on your child. If a 3rd grader is super mature and has worked on code.org, they would probably do fine in an older class. On the other hand, if a 3rd grader has trouble staying focused, it's probably best to send them with their grade level. Don't hesitate to contact us if you want to ask about your specific situation.
Do you provide lunch at your summer camps?
We do not provide lunch, but we do provide some light snacks. We take a lunch break around 11:45 AM. Please send your child with lunch daily.
Do you have recess or exercise breaks?
Our Bellaire and Champions locations have places to play outside. Our Katy and Heights locations do not.
If my child misses a class, can they make it up?
For after-school classes, time does not permit any make-ups. For summer camps, we can arrange for a student to stay late on a day to make up part of a lesson.
Can I have a free trial?
Due to limited space, we don't offer trial periods. If your child has a really bad experience on the first day, let us know and we will refund you at a prorated rate (80%).
Can I get a refund before the course starts?
We give full refunds with a week's notice. For cancellations within a week of a class, we charge a 25% refund fee. We can also credit your account or switch you to a different class, if available, for no cost.
Can parents attend your classes?
We think it is best for the students to learn independence. At the same time, if you want to check us out or make sure your child is doing well, feel free to stick around. At some point though, please let your child do it themselves!
What happens if my child breaks a computer?
So far we haven't had any accidents. Please teach your child to be careful with technology before they attend. If it is truly an accident, it is really no problem. If it is intentional, we will probably ask that the child not return and give you a prorated refund.
